Car bomb detonated in Beirut

(Lebanon) Earlier today, the head of Hezbollah’s parliamentary bloc said that they would make the sponsors of the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) pay backing them. This, one day after Iranian President Hassan Rouhani had warned Gulf States that funding terrorism will cause a backlash. So, in a nutshell, the leader of the Shia world and his Shia proxy in Lebanon have said that to the backers of the Sunni terrorists who are currently reclaiming Sunni areas of Shia Iraq for Sunni Islam that they will be the next target of these gun totting thugs.

Well, in response, a car bomb was detonated at a Lebanese army checkpoint on the outskirts of Beruit's Shatila district, injuring a large number of people. Shatila is at the entrance of southern Beirut, a stronghold of Hezbollah. Looks like the other side got the first punch in.
